Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue ellis-taylor, actress, American stage and screen actor and producer. She is most famous as an actress in films for her performances in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She received a BA at Brown University in African-American Studies. At the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University she earned an MFA. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis is an actor, producer and American actor who is active in theater in film, television, and theatre. Her acting journey began with theater, and was later featured in numerous television series and independent and mainstream movies. She became famous as Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico in addition to appearing in BET's epic show The Book of Negroes. Both of the roles she was praised by critics and received various awards and nominations, among them the Television Critics Choice Award for the best Actress. Her professional acting debut in the role of Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. She has performed on Broadway as a part of Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. Film-wise her most well-known roles are performances such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Her work in television she has been praised for her part as a regular character on ABC's drama about cops High Incident.
