Gemma Christina Arterton, an English actress, is known for movies such as Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, and ?Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters. Her birthplace is Gravesend near Greater London. She made her debut in the industry after taking classes at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and her debut in film through a role as a co-star in the comedy film 'St. Trinian's'. Her next film was "Quantum of Solace" which was a James Bond spy thriller. The film was commercially successful, but received mostly average reviews.
